Public Hearing on Updates to State Deer, Moose, Turkey, and Importation Rules

The Vermont Fish and Wildlife Board is inviting public comment on proposed changes to Vermont’s white-tailed deer, moose and turkey hunting regulations, as well as the rules for transporting wild game meat from out of state.
The department will accept public comment on the proposed updates to turkey season, moose season, deer season, and cervid carcass importation rules, found here, via email to ANR.FWPublicComment@vermont.gov.
Five public hearings will be held around the state. Public comment will be accepted until May 25, 2025.
Intermediate Fly-Tying Course
During this intermediate course participants will learn additional fly-tying techniques to enhance their skills. All of the tools and materials will be supplied for this course with a registration fee of $30.
This course will be taught over 4 sessions, the sessions are being held on Thursday evenings from 6pm-8pm on March 13, 20, 27 and April 3rd. All 4 sessions must be attended.
