Hunter Education New Instructor Training
Do you want to teach Vermonters to be safe, ethical, and legal while hunting? Do you have a passion for hunting and want to share that passion with others? Then teach with us!
The Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department is hosting an instructor training course on Saturday, March 25th at South Burlington City Hall. All applicants must complete their instructor paperwork and online homework before attending the course. Click here to find out more.
Lunch will be provided. Be prepared to be outside for at least part of the day.

Waterfowl Season Public Hearing
The department is holding a public hearing on the status of migratory game bird populations and proposed 2023 migratory game bird hunting seasons for the interior zone of Vermont and Lake Champlain zone. Waterfowl and webless migratory game bird hunters are encouraged to attend the hearings and share their preferences and opinions about the proposed seasons. There will be no virtual meeting offered.
