Public Input Surveys
We are interested in your opinions regarding your deer hunting objectives and current deer management strategies in Vermont. We will conduct public surveys, both on this website and at the public meetings, to learn more about hunters in the state; where they live and hunt, their ages and gender, what rates they participate, and their satisfaction.
The results from this preliminary survey will be used to gauge how well different management options are accepted, facilitate regional working groups’ discussions, and help guide deer management. This data will provide important information to help us consider what kinds of seasons and harvest management techniques we should employ in the years ahead.
