Fish & Wildlife Trust Fund

Vermont's mountains, forests, streams, lakes, and wetlands provide habitat for abundant wildlife and a diverse selection of plants. Conserving these fish and wildlife resources is important to Vermonters' quality of life.

Make an Investment

The Fish and Wildlife Trust Fund is like a 401(k) for Vermont's fish and wildlife resources. Money generated from the interest on the Fund helps the Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department conserve these priceless resources by supporting the many activities and services we provide, including:
Moose in Swamp
  • Habitat maintenance and restoration
  • Educational materials for Vermont schools
  • Law Enforcement
  • Fisheries management
  • Game management
  • Green Mountain Conservation Camps
  • Monitoring threatened and endangered species

  • Direct donation - Print and mail our donation form and pay by check or credit card -or- make a direct donation payable to:

  • Buy a Lifetime License - Proceeds from the lifetime license sales go to the Fish and Wildlife Trust Fund. By purchasing a Lifetime License not only will you enjoy Vermont hunting and fishing for a lifetime, you will also be investing in Vermont's future fish and wildlife resources.
