PERMANENT LICENSES
Any Vermont resident who is 65 or older may purchase a permanent license online, in person at our Montpelier office or through the mail to our Montpelier mailing address.

The cost of a permanent license is $50.00. If a permanent license holder wishes to hunt for a second archery deer, he/she must purchase a regular annual archery license.

A permanent license holder may receive a new free permanent license when the tags have been used or when the license is worn. Permanent license holders should wait until all of the hunting seasons are over to replace a license when the tags have been used.

If a permanent license has been lost or stolen, it can be replaced for a fee of $5.00 at the Montpelier office.

PERMANENT DISABILITY LICENSES
(a) A legally blind person who is a Vermont resident may apply for a free permanent fishing license. Documentation from the Division for the Blind and Visually Impaired is required.
