Operation Game Thief (OGT) is a joint non-profit program sponsored by the Vermont Federation of Sportsmen’s Clubs and administered by the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department. It pays rewards to citizens who identify poachers by calling the toll free number or submitting information online.
The toll free number is 1-800-75ALERT (1-800-752-5378) and should be called anytime the violation is in progress or time sensitive.
