Moose Lottery Application - Deadline July 5
The Fish & Wildlife Department has proposed 355 moose hunting permits for the regular October 19-24 moose season, and 50 permits for an archery moose season October 1-7.
August 1st is Moose Day!
The drawing for the Annual Vermont Moose Lottery will be held LIVE on Thursday, August 1 at 10 a.m. Join us in person for all the excitement or tune in on Froggy 100.9 to hear us read off ALL the lucky winners’ names. Moose Permit Auction - Bidding Deadline August 20
The Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department will auction five moose hunting permits for Vermont’s moose hunting seasons (Archery Only and Regular). The permit will be valid for only one season (Archery Only or Regular).
A person may apply in both the general lottery drawing and in the auction but can receive only one permit. If a successful bidder receives a permit in the general lottery drawing, the person is no longer eligible in the auction.
Bids must be submitted on the Department’s Moose Permit Bid Form. There is a minimum bid of $1,500.
