Lake St. Catherine State Park offers shoreline fishing, camping, swimming, and a playground with the purchase of an entrance fee. You can also rent a boat at the park.

There is typically a “Let’s Go Fishing” workshop offered on the second Saturday in June. At the workshop, participants learn how to tie fishing knots, make fishing lures, understand fishing regulations, and learn to use spin-casting rods to catch fish. More info

Fish You'll Findlake st catherine map
Lake St. Catharine has some great fishing where you can catch such species as largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern pike, yellow perch, crappie, bullhead, bluegill, and pumpkinseed sunfish.

Mid-April through mid-May is the best time to catch panfish, but they can be caught all year. Bass and pike fishing are best from mid-May through September.

Fishing Tips
For panfish around the weeds, cast a bobber with a split shot, single hook and bait such as a worm or minnow to the edges of weeds or to open pockets within the weeds. Casting in-line spinners, spoons and crankbaits around the sandbar at the mouth of Endless Brook can be productive for bass and trout. If you have a boat, try Cones Point and Cones Bay along Route 30. Learn More
