Becoming an Outdoors-Woman

Becoming an Outdoors Woman (B.O.W.) offers women of all ages and expertise an opportunity to experience the outdoors. Annual weekend events are held during late summer at one of the Department owned Conservation Camps—Edward F. Kehoe Green Mountain Conservation Camp in Bomoseen or Buck Lake Green Mountain Conservation Camp in Woodbury, Vermont.

Workshops range from archery, shooting to fishing—something for everyone. Expert instruction is provided for all classes

“Striving to encourage and enhance the participation of women of all ages and abilities in outdoor activities, through hands-on education, challenging leadership, citizenship and life skill learning opportunities”
