In Vermont, white-tailed deer are one of the most studied and talked about species in this
state. They live in the mountains and river valleys and can be seen feeding in farmland,
along the roadside, or even your backyard. You can view one of these wily Whitetails up-close
by requesting a poster from the Fish and Wildlife Department!
