Public Hearing on Crow Hunting

MONTPELIER, Vt. – The Vermont Fish & Wildlife Board will hold a public hearing on a proposal to change the dates of Vermont’s crow hunting season on Tuesday, February 24 at 6:30 p.m. in the Pavilion Office Building Auditorium, 109 State Street, Montpelier.

The proposal calls for setting the crow hunting season dates for January 15 through April 11 and August 19 through December 19. The proposed dates are scheduled to be outside the crow nesting period, as required by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

The existing crow hunting season dates are March 14 through April 30 and August 16 through October 29.
