8/21/09 Take a Hike through Bat Habitat

5:00PM until 9:00PM at Bristol - New Haven Townline
Vermont Fish & Wildlife and the Watershed Center invite you to spend an evening learning about bats.

Come take a hike through the woods of Bristol and New Haven and learn what makes good Indiana bat habitat.

The Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department is helping private landowners manage and enhance Indiana bat habitat on their lands by providing funding through the Landowner Incentive Program (LIP).

Pre-registration is required. Interested landowners should contact Jane Lazorchak at the Fish & Wildlife Department at 802-479-4405 or Jane.Lazorchak@state.vt.us or David Brynn of the Watershed Center at 802-453-7728, or david@familyforests.org to register.
