Dear Vermont hunters and wildlife enthusiasts,
We are pleased to present the draft 2010-2020 Big Game Plan, which will direct future management goals and activities for the state's deer, moose, black bear, and wild turkey populations. It is the culmination of public survey data, biological data, public input meetings, and Department thinking. It is being made available to you in this form so that you will have a chance to offer comments and suggestions about the Plan directly to the Department. It is our goal to have all of the necessary signatures on the plan by September 30 and begin implementation on January 1, 2010. Please provide your comments and suggestions to the Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department by July 31, 2009. If you wish to send them by US mail you are welcomed to do so. The address is:
